The Playhouse

We are committed to supporting the growth and transformative benefits of exercising effective communication and lateral thinking in children through the arts and play. We specialise in curating activities that help to build creative, collaborative and problem solving competencies for all ages but particularly for children and young people, enabling them to be more connected and empathic, future ready global citizens.

Our programmes aims to provide opportunities for students to encounter inspiring trailblazing artists both local and global, as well as opportunities to challenge their own creative potential.

The Playhouse’s mission is to illuminate all people’s sense of playfulness, curiosity and creativity through workshops and new experiences that open minds.

Our Programmes:

Little Ones (1-3 yrs): Tinker Art BBs, Baby Wearing Class

Mini Kiddies (1-3 yrs): Tinker Art Tots, Art Fundamentals I, Storytelling, BallroomBees

Big Kiddies (3-10 yrs): Our sessions for older children are 75-90 mins long and are for children looking for more challenging curious play, we work with children to exercise and advance their fine motor skills along side their creative problem solving to design and execute different projects. We have programmes from painting to coding: Painting Fundamentals (6-10 yrs), StoryPlay I & II (3-5.5 yrs), DesignPlay I & II (4-7 yrs), CentreStage Musical Theatre Programme (4.5-7 yrs), BallroomBees (3-8 yrs), IslandDance Freestyle Jazz (3 yrs+), ByteWise Coding Scratch Jr. (6-9 yrs).

Young Creatives (10 yrs+): Our sessions for young creatives are 75-120 mins long and are for young people looking for an advanced art making outlet. We work with young people to streamline and elevate their creative skillset and artistic profile, along side nurturing their creative problem solving competencies so they can design and execute different projects independently.
